What this tool does
TubeCraft reads the first available audio track, decodes it locally and encodes a new audio file at 48 kHz. WAV preserves uncompressed PCM audio and is useful for editing. MP3 uses lossy compression at 320 kbps and usually produces a smaller file. The video container alone does not guarantee compatibility; the browser processing engine must support the codecs inside it.
Check the result: Files with unsupported or unusual codecs may fail even when the filename ends in MP4 or MOV. MP3 conversion is lossy and cannot improve the source audio.
